Delrak launches a dedicated workshop series on the top mistakes of business beginners and how to avoid them

14 March 2025 — Szczecin, Poland

Delrak today announced a new structured workshop series addressing the financial errors most commonly made in the first 18 months of running a business. The curriculum is built from patterns observed across thousands of student case studies submitted since 2016.

The series focuses specifically on cash flow misreading, premature scaling, and the habit of treating revenue as profit.

Each session is delivered asynchronously, allowing participants from any timezone to engage without scheduling conflicts. The format combines short video modules with structured written exercises reviewed by practitioners.

Enrollment is open to individuals at any stage — the material is designed to be useful whether someone is planning a business or already operating one at a loss they cannot explain.

  • Available globally
  • Asynchronous format
  • Practitioner-reviewed exercises
  • No prior finance background required
  • Starts April 2025

Editorial position

Financial planning gaps remain the leading cause of early business failure — Delrak commentary

28 January 2025 — Szczecin, Poland

Across the submissions and progress data Delrak has gathered from workshop participants, one pattern repeats with uncomfortable regularity: founders who understood their product well but had no reliable picture of their cash position.

Knowing your burn rate and your actual receivables cycle is not advanced finance — it is the baseline. Most beginners skip it entirely.

Delrak's position is that practical financial literacy for business owners should be treated as a core skill, not a subject deferred to accountants. The workshops are structured to reflect that — participants work through real scenarios using their own numbers, not textbook examples.

  • Cash flow literacy
  • Real scenario exercises
  • Participant-supplied data
  • No theoretical abstractions
